Ivan Alfaro is the Founder and CEO of Common Walk Realty. He is also an active real estate investor, speaker, and author. Since 2007, he has completed over 171 real estate deals, building a solid track record in different types of properties.

Ivan started his real estate journey at 19 years old. At that time, he worked as a web designer and saved up for his first down payment. In his twenties, he kept buying properties while moving up in his corporate job, later becoming a Senior Web Developer and Technical Manager. By 27, a $180,000 payout from one of his properties allowed him to leave his job and focus on real estate full-time.

Over the years, Ivan has worked on single-family flips, multifamily properties, and warehouses. Today, he leads Common Walk Realty’s affordable housing rental portfolio of around 20 doors. He works with his team to build strong communities while helping others grow wealth through real estate.

Outside of real estate, Ivan enjoys spending time with his wife. He also likes walking his potbelly pig around the neighborhood and watching movies. Ivan believes real estate is not just about money. It is about making a difference, helping others, and building a life with freedom and purpose.
